Tina Parker, from the Just be cafe in Saltash ran the Medoc Marathon on September 8th raising an amazing £2550.

However, this is no ordinary marathon as its run in fancy dress and through the vineyards of Medoc where runners consume everything from fine wines to oysters, cheese to steak and grapes….as you might imagine its not so much a race as a party!

Thank you so much to Tina for putting her body through the pain of 26 miles in the sun and for raising such a great sum!

Cornwall Charity Cup

The Cornwall FA Charity Cup is underway and I was happy to go to see St.Agnes play Wendron – it was a tightly fought affair with St Agnes, who are a league lower, scoring first and nearly holding out to the end.

Wendron’s class started to show and they scored just before the final whistle, building on their success to secure the game in extra time.

Invictus will be the recipients of all money raised in all the rounds so please support the games if you can.
