New Unit Update

We are delighted to report that Steve was invited to sit on the committee that selected the developer of the new unit and that the panel were unanimous in their selection of Interserve.

Interserve were actually the winners of the original bid and we are pleased to see again the quality of their understanding of adolescent mental health and the excellence of their team proposal. Work is scheduled to start at the end of this year or maybe in early 2017 and should be completed at the latest in April 2018.

Sophia was also involved in the recruitment of the Consultant Nurse and Lead Psychologist and again was very pleased with the appointments made especially Laura, the psychologist, who referenced and knew a lot about Invictus. Both demonstrated a real passion for helping to solve the specific problems of young people and we are very encouraged by progress to date……..
